Warm Wishes
Are you finished making and mailing your Christmas cards yet? With all that we've had going on, I've only managed to make about 10 of them, and none have been mailed yet. I looked at the calendar today and realized that if I don't get the rest finished in the next couple days, they aren't going to make it in time, given the traffic in the postal system this time of year. Unfortunately, though it would save time, I really hate making lots of just one design. So I decided to compromise and make maybe 3 each of several designs. That way I can save some thinking time but also have fun making them. So here's the first design I made today. The sweet, wintery scene is a digi by artist Anne Fenton, and is one that I received for free by participating in the Creative Freebie Challenge (CFC) at the Outlawz papercrafting forum. (The CFC challenge is a fun, progressive challenge where you use the images provided in order to earn the next set. Visit the Outlawz forum and click on "Challenges" to learn more.) I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils, and then highlighted the snow with some Stickles. Back to work now -- I have a LOT more cards to make! :-)

Great winter scene and a fabby crd! Aim in the same boat and need to get my cards out still!
This is so pretty and what a great winter scene, that we use to see while living in New England, not so much in Texas :)
This is beautiful, Deedee! I used the same image to play in the Outlawz challenge but I love your pencil coloring even more than the coloring I did. Shall I break your heart and tell you I got all my cards in the mail and have only those which will be hand delivered to finish? OK, I won't tell you then. :-D Hugs.
