Snowman Soup

I've spent the last couple days making packet after packet of this charming little Christmas treat -- Snowman Soup. To each little pouch I added a packet of cocoa mix, a candy cane, and a handful of marshmallows (aka snowmen).

The darling Snowman Soup digi image is a new release at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, and was drawn by my dear friend Sandy Domelle. Isn't it adorable??? My coloring isn't the best on this one, but the image is only an inch high, and I find it tough to color in miniature. Also, my blue Copic markers have all gone dry, so I had to work with a watercolor marker to color the cup.

The poem is one that I wrote myself. There is a sweet poem digi also available at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, but it didn't quite fit my needs this time. These packets will be donated, along with a box of other goodies, to my daughters' school for their Christmas craft fair. The idea behind the craft fair is for the kids to be able to shop for their friends and families, so I wanted a poem that detailed exactly what snowman soup is, and that would be applicable to anyone they might buy it for. There are many poems out there you can find to use, but most had slightly different ingredients than what I put in mine. So it was DIY time. For anyone else who might like to use it, here's my little poem digi.
