Summer Goose

I know, I know, most people associate geese with Christmas, but this is a summer goose, not a Christmas one -- LOL! I made this card for today's Friday Sketcher's challenge. I don't usually put so many flowers on my cards, because I have such a hard time laying them out. Blame it on the OCD -- I can literally spend hours moving them around before I'm satisfied with their placement. But it seemed the thing to do given this adorable goose's festive summer hat. When I was a little girl I used to dream of owning a hat like this someday. Now that I'm all grown up, my fashion tastes are far more simple and practical, but I can still admire a great hat when I see it! :-)

Card Materials: Stamps -- Goose stamp by Penny Black. Inks -- Memento Tuxedo Black; Copic markers; white gel pen. Papers -- Red and floral designer paper from the Citrus Stack by DCWV; orange Noteworthy designer paper by Making Memories; Green Galore, Pumpkin Pie, and summer Sun cardstocks by Stampin' Up!; white cardstock by Georgia Pacific. Accessories -- Misc. paper flowers by Prima; misc. brads; punched paper leaves; red satin ribbon. Special Tools -- Leaf punch by Martha Stewart; Custom Cutting System with Oval templates and Corner Rounder by Creative Memories.
